What Does Love Mean?

Kids, aged 4 to 10 were asked questions about what they thought of love. Here is what they said:

+ When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth. - Billy, age 4

+ Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday. - Noelle, age 7

+ Love is what makes you smile when you're tired. - Terri, age 4

+ Love is when my mummy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK. - Danny, age 7

+ Love is when someone hurts you. And you get so mad but you don't yell at him because you know it would hurt his feelings. - Katie, age 8

+ Love is when mommy gives daddy the best piece of chicken. - Elaine, age 5

+ Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs. - Chrissy, age 6

+ I think you're supposed to get shot with an arrow or something, but the rest of it isn't supposed to be so painful. - Manuel, age 8

+ I'm in favor of love as long as it doesn't happen when Dinosaurs is on television. - Jill, age 6

+ Love will find you, even if you are trying to hide from it. I been trying to hide from it since I was five, but the girls keep finding me. - Dave, age 8

+ Lovers will just be staring at each other and their food will get cold. Other people care more about the food. - Brad, age 8

I'm not sure if these were actually said by the kids but one thing is clear that we have a lot to learn from children as always.
